Have You Ever Been on Your Own Journey?

We think and often say that life is just a hustle and bustle. In this hustle and bustle, we forget ourselves as we constantly try to deal with something. We either don't think of spending time with ourselves or we can't find the time. We are constantly interested in what others are doing, or what they will think or say about us, no matter what we do. While dealing with all this, we naturally have no time for ourselves. Maybe we're not trying to make it happen. Thus, we begin to alienate ourselves. Then this situation manifests itself; It shows through the deterioration of our relationships, school life or work life. We are always looking for the culprit outside; Saying "This is not good for me"... However, the whole issue actually happens inside. Unless a person embarks on his own journey, he always looks for the answer in a person, a job, a city, but cannot find it. When he cannot find it, he slowly moves towards destruction.

Is freedom physical or spiritual?

Until now, we have always perceived freedom as something physical. However, we experience freedom in two ways: physically and mentally. We equate these two concepts, but there is no physical freedom without mental freedom. To our freedom; We think that we will meet again when we quit our jobs, when we get out of school, and when our relationship ends. However, unless we become free by digging deep and researching all these in our minds, we cannot be free in any sense. Unless we are free, we cannot progress on our own journey.

In the individual's journey to himself, there is never a destination.

On this path, we always realize something new and become enlightened. In fact, we are never complete in life, we always continue to learn and try to complete our shortcomings.

As we embark on our own journey and try to return to our essence, the more awareness we can raise on some issues, the better we can progress.

We can move forward quickly. Don't try, slow down!

The situations we encounter and the things we experience in life condemn us to speed as if we were on a race track. If you slow down you lose, message gives. Thus, we feel like we are incomplete, like we are missing something. However, slowing down is one of the most important things that protects the soul. If your body goes before your soul, that's when you'll be late. If the body and soul do not continue their journey at the same time, you will remain incomplete, you will not be complete. So you have to remind yourself to slow down. You can put anything into this slowdown; such as eating slowly, driving slowly, talking slowly, being slow while shopping, waiting while buying something... In these, we become freer as much as we can make ourselves wait, and therefore, we get closer to ourselves.

Be careful what you turn to!

Attention is the essence of life. A person sees whatever he wants to focus on and see in life. Sometimes that thing we focus on too much, or maybe we don't like at all, is our life. In fact, everything we don't like comes from us. Sometimes we focus so much on our shortcomings that we unintentionally stab ourselves. That's why managing attention is one of the most important things. Again, we forget ourselves while constantly paying attention to some other things related to others...

Learn to ask questions, do not be afraid!

Asking questions is one of the most important sources of communication. . Without asking questions, you can neither expect to be understood nor to understand the person or situation in front of you. In our upbringing and school life since childhood, we have always learned to be afraid of questions. Thoughts like "What if they ask us something and we don't give the correct answer, what if we interpret it incompletely and they get angry at us or make fun of us" kept spinning around in our minds. This situation caused us to become afraid and avoid asking questions in the future. Of course, there may be situations where we cannot get out of the situation when we question some things and feel like we are in a dead end. Sometimes you have to see the bottom to find the light. So don't be afraid of the darkness you see, on the contrary, go for it. When you feel restless, anxious, stressed, remember that you are on the right track. Because these show that; You have started to turn within yourself and investigate yourself. When you get closer to yourself, you can create yourself by getting rid of standards and patterns. Reach the center To achieve this, you can try various ways on this journey, depending on your interests and your own structure; such as walking, meditating, reading books on such topics, attending seminars... Everyone may have different solutions. The only important thing when doing this is to be honest with yourself. Remember, you can fool everyone, but never yourself…
