Anger is an emotion that every person has and should have. Anger is often referred to as a bad emotion, but when it is appropriate and sufficient, anger is actually a good emotion for the person. Especially the feeling of anger gives a message to the person. The message here is that things have to change. The person becomes angry at injustice, angry at threats, angry at insults, etc. In short, the person becomes angry at any thought or action that may cause material or moral harm to him. This anger actually allows the person to protect himself. It provides motivation to the person to change the situation that causes anger. For example, if a person has been wronged, he or she is motivated to correct it, or when faced with injustice, he or she tries to correct the injustice. Anger sometimes gives information about how the other person should treat you. For example, when you get angry when your friend makes a joke on you, your friend begins to understand that he should not make such jokes on you. In short, anger is not always a bad emotion that should not exist. Many people see the feeling of anger as a bad emotion that people should not have, and they work towards this goal. So when does anger start to become a problem? When do people get into trouble because of their own anger?

Although anger has benefits for the person, it also has aspects that harm the person. Anger can manifest in different ways. Among these; irritability, anger, anger, hatred, violence, verbal or physical aggression, shouting, etc. Anger becomes dangerous when the intensity of anger is high, when it cannot be controlled, when it causes harm to oneself or the environment, and when one feels angry frequently. When anger becomes dangerous;

- It can lead to physiologically undesirable hormonal reactions in the person. These include testosterone hormone, norepinephrine hormone, and epinephrine hormone. The increase or decrease in these hormones in the body can weaken the person's immune system, leaving the person more vulnerable to diseases.


 

- As the intensity of a person's feeling of anger increases, the person Begins to lash out emotionally, verbally, or physically. If the anger becomes uncontrollable, the attacks continue regularly, and the person gradually begins to lose his environment or the tolerance his environment has shown him. When a person is constantly angry at his environment, the issue that caused him to become angry ends up being unresolved.


 

- Anger puts the person in a vicious circle. When the state of anger is repeated frequently, deterioration occurs in the person's social relationships. A person whose social relationships deteriorate begins to feel more intense anger. The efficiency of an individual who frequently feels the emotion of anger in business or academic life begins to decrease, and the person whose productivity decreases feels more angry. When anger is felt intensely, it becomes an obstacle to a person's successes, and the person will feel more anger when faced with failure. In order to control anger, a person must first focus on what he experiences, what he feels, and what he thinks in a situation of anger. What exactly is the situation that makes the person angry at that moment? Individuals get angry the most when they are hindered or treated unfairly. If a person has unhealthy anger rather than healthy anger for any reason, the person must focus on their dynamics. The more meaning is given to emotions and the more connection with the past is established, the more controllable anger will be.
