FUE HAIR TRANSPLANTATION

Hair follicles are collected from the nape donor area, one by one, with manual punch or micromotor punch. If the donor area is not sufficient, hair follicles can be collected from body hair or beard with FUE. The resulting hair follicles are called 'graft' or 'graft'. These grafts are collected in a sterile environment and transplanted to the needed area.

Slit Blade Transplantation Technique

Small razor blades are used to place the nape donor hair follicles collected with the FUE technique, that is, the grafts, and channels as many as the number of hairs to be transplanted. It opens completely into the skin. Then, all the hair taken into the opened channels is placed one by one. Hair transplantation and eyebrow transplantation are performed this way.

Round Needle Transplantation Technique (Stick&Place)

With the FUE technique, the nape donor hair follicles collected are placed one by one with needles resembling round syringe needles. The number of channels equal to the number of grafts is not opened from the very beginning, a channel is opened and hair is immediately placed inside. Hair transplantation and eyebrow transplantation are performed this way.

Hair transplantation is performed on people diagnosed with male pattern hair loss and hair loss. Male pattern hair loss is a very accelerated version of the cyclic life of the hair follicle from birth to death.
The person who will have a hair transplant should stop taking blood thinners, such as Aspirin, etc., one week in advance, and should not drink alcohol, if any, before the procedure. One should not use medications that are not recommended by the doctor.
Hair is cut to 1 mm length. Sometimes, depending on the number of grafts planned to be transplanted, not all of the hair may be cut. Blood is taken from the person who will undergo hair transplantation, and routine blood and biochemical tests are performed. The patient's head is washed with antiseptics. hair extension The patient is taken to the operating room where the procedure will be performed. If hair follicles are to be taken from the nape donor or another donor area under local anesthesia, grafts from that area are collected manually or with the help of a micromotor using the FUE technique. The collected grafts are deposited in glass containers under sterile and appropriate conditions.

After the collection process is completed; The patient's transplantation area is also anesthetized by giving local anesthesia. Channels are opened into the skin equal to the number of hair follicles and grafts taken to the area to be transplanted. When the channel opening process is completed, individual hairs and grafts are placed into the opened channels. Stick and Place (Drill and Place) - if the round needle technique is to be used, the channel opening process is done one by one and the hair follicle is immediately placed into the single channel opened.
The total amount of this procedure may vary depending on the number of hair follicles to be transplanted, the chosen technique and the patient's hair structure. But if we have to give a time, it may take an average of 8-9 hours.
After the hair transplantation process is completed, the treated areas of the patient are bandaged. The dressing remains for 12-24 hours and is then removed.

In the FUE process, the donor area heals completely within 5-7 days, and the transplantation area heals completely within 8-10 days. During this period, the person who has had a hair transplant can hide the crusty appearance by using a hat. Eyebrow transplantation can also be performed with the FUE technique. It is based on the same principles, the recovery time is shorter.
