Which diet can we trust in all this information pollution?
Actually, the answer is very simple. If we apply these diets on our own, unfortunately the results are not satisfactory. The weight lost is regained in a very short time. Sometimes, unhealthy diets lead to serious diseases. Instead, help should be sought from dietitians who are experts on the subject. Do not forget that if you are on this diet, your friends are people who have been trained in this field for years. They give advice with an approach that puts health first. Additionally, with the support of another specialist, you can make a much more effective diet than you could on your own. I would like to emphasize that one should not be enthusiastic about the media or utopian approaches of media people (I exclude those who are experts in their subject).
An article published recently really concerns the Turkish people. A study has been published showing that drinking tea reduces the risk of heart attack. In this study, patients who had a heart attack for 1 year were examined. When these patients were compared with the healthy group, it was found that there was a difference in terms of heart attack between those who drank at least 1 cup of tea a day and those who did not drink at all. Of course, it is not possible to achieve this benefit just by drinking tea. At the end of the study, it was stated as an assumption that tea drinkers might consist of people who care about their health. Nevertheless, an area has emerged in Turkey where heavy tea drinking may at least be beneficial.
It has been revealed that carotenoids found in fruits and vegetables help in losing weight. Carotenoids play an especially important role in burning fat. However, fruits and vegetables must be chewed well in order for carotenoids to be absorbed. Good chewing results in plenty of carotenoids. Additionally, fats mix well in the intestine. It becomes a lump and is digested better.
Does a calcium-rich diet protect against osteoporosis?
Actually, it should be like that. However, in developed countries where calcium intake is high, osteoporosis is more common than in underdeveloped countries. Here, experts talk about the effect of red meat-based protein. Red meat can reduce calcium absorption. In developed countries, red meat consumption is higher and this negatively affects calcium absorption. This situation is not seen in plant proteins.
Sugary drinks, soft drinks and carbonated drinks cause fat storage in the liver. In a study, fatty liver was much more common in people who drank 2 sugary drinks a day. It is necessary to keep these drinks away, especially from children.
