This means that events such as death or war may not have a traumatic effect on some individuals. EMDR Technique (Eye Movement Desensitization) in Psychological Trauma

EMDR is a psychotherapy approach. It stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. As the name suggests, memories are reprocessed and the disturbances caused by them can be eliminated.

Negative life experiences at all ages such as childhood, including natural disasters, deaths, accidents, exposure to violence, abuse, etc., are unprocessed memories.

EMDR is a physiologically based therapy that enables the processing of such isolated memories. It allows the brain to perform the operation that it could not do in time. In short, it can be called reliving the bad experiences of that time now, now. The client is no longer disturbed and can see the memory with a new and healthy perspective.
