Acupuncture Application Areas

The WHO (World Health Organization), which met for the first time in the Philippines in 1978, published a list of diseases that can be treated with acupuncture. Below is the list of indications that was later expanded and accepted at the WHO Assembly in Cervia, Italy, in 1994, where I attended from Turkey as an observer.

Diseases for which the effectiveness of acupuncture has been proven by studies with scientific control groups:
