PORCELAIN CROWN BRIDGE

It is the process of shrinking and covering teeth that have excessive material loss due to caries, fractures or any other reason.

In case one or more teeth are missing, adjacent teeth are reduced and spaced by using special coatings on them. It is the process of filling the gaps.

When tooth loss occurs for any reason, the neighboring teeth begin to move towards this gap. As a result, gum problems in the adjacent teeth, bone loss due to tipping into this space, deterioration in aesthetics and changes in chewing forces occur. If this gap is not restored with an implant or bridge for a long time, these adjacent teeth may also be lost.

Standard metal "quotni-co" or precious metal "quotau" alloys can be used as infrastructure. Among the substances used in dentistry, gold is one of the most valuable materials compatible with teeth and gums. Therefore, healthier and more aesthetic results are achieved with applications using precious metal.

They are made of reinforced porcelain. Although many things affect the appearance of crowns, the most important is their response to light. Natural teeth transmit light. As a result, depth and vitality appear in the tooth. Due to the light-transmitting properties of metal-free porcelain crowns (full porcelain), their depth and vitality are greater, thus providing results closest to natural teeth.

Full porcelains are very similar to the natural tooth structure as they transmit light. While creating an aesthetic, there is a dullness and artificiality in metal porcelains, even if they are very well made. For this reason, full porcelains are preferred, especially in the front teeth.

Metal-supported porcelains give the appearance of a dark space in the mouth as if it does not exist in some lights (disco, camera flash, etc.). Full porcelains, on the other hand, transmit all kinds of light, just like natural teeth.

Metal-supported porcelains are mechanically bonded to the tooth. Full porcelains are attached to the teeth mechanically and chemically. Therefore, their retention is much higher than metal-supported ones.

Since there is no metal in its infrastructure, there will be no dark line at the crown-gum line. A more aesthetic appearance is provided.

When the gum recedes, the full While l porcelains maintain their aesthetic appearance, metal porcelains create a bad appearance in the area where they meet the teeth.

There is no risk of allergy to some metals used in the infrastructure (nickel, etc.) in full porcelains.
