Apathy Causes Attention Disorder

Psychologist Ceren Yağcıköseoğlu made important statements about how Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), which is seen in most children, occurs.

Stating that ADHD is a psychological disorder with a physiological origin, Yağcıköseoğlu said, ' If we need to explain 'ADHD', a child cannot stay in charge of a project or assigned homework for a certain period of time. He cannot spend long time on the task assigned to him and abandons the work he started and turns to a second job. In these cases, parents need to be more sensitive. If they do not intervene early, the child will become addicted, spending hours playing games that will make him happy. A child who is addicted to games and the internet thinks that doing homework and projects is boring and that games are more fun, which is why attention deficit disorder occurs. Whenever the child is about to do homework, he thinks of games and gets distracted. To prevent this, attention should be paid to the child. His mother or father must be with him while he fulfills his responsibilities. Look, the biggest factor that causes attention deficit is apathy. While a child who does not receive attention from his family can concentrate and pay attention to activities that will make him happy, he cannot fulfill the tasks for which he is responsible. ADHD is caused by deterioration of neurological, physiological and hormonal structure. Therefore, if the mother and father do not pay enough attention to the child, it causes attention disorder." and try to satisfy themselves with things that will make them happy in games. The games are interesting and they feel different by creating their own unique character here. The attitudes of parents towards their children are very important. Nowadays, mothers, like fathers, are actively working to support the household economy, so they cannot take care of their children. That's why parents cannot pay enough attention to their children when they come home in the evening. While the mother is busy with cooking, the father prefers to rest in front of the TV to relieve the tiredness of the day. Therefore, the child unknowingly gets the attention he expects from his parents. He goes to different networks where he can socialize with his friends on social media via computer, either instantly or indirectly through games. This is entirely due to the fact that the parents somehow prioritize the child's own needs and push them into the background. Children's interest in social media or games stems from the attitudes of their parents. Mother and father have an important role in preventing attention deficit in the child. '' he said.
