Panic disorder, or more commonly known as panic attack, creates extreme fear and helplessness, even though it has no physical cause and does not lead to any bad consequences. With this fear and helplessness, the person constantly goes from doctor to doctor and starts using various medications, and often begins to live a limited and unhappy life due to the disappointment caused by the medications. The reason for the insistence on always searching for a newer and more effective medicine is the desire to get rid of the fear as soon as possible. However, the most important thing to remember is that although panic attacks are considered a disease, they are actually a defense of the body, or in other words, a scream. So panic is a result; If you are carrying more burden than you should, if you are always counter-focused, if you cannot react to the issues that upset or anger you, or if you are not even aware of these issues! Panic will find you! So instead of listening to the sound of your beating heart or realizing the reasons for your fears and changing your life, you take a medicine to get old. You often don't get better because you try to continue your style. Even if there is temporary relief, if there is no awareness, the risk of recurrence will always remain and you will have a life full of fear and avoidance.
The permanent solution, of course, is in psychotherapy; In panic attack psychotherapy, in a few sessions, the person realizes what he does not realize about his life and begins to change his over-giving, inability to say no, or excessive ambition and success-oriented style that is almost identified with him. For this purpose, studies on past traumas, false beliefs, unexperiencing poles (anger, etc.) and body/breathing exercises can be done.
