This is a movement that many people have complained about from past to present. As we get older, we begin to lose our jaw bones as well as our entire body, and accordingly, the bone level to which the teeth are attached in the jaw decreases. As a result, separation and rotation of the teeth occurs. This situation may be considered normal in older ages.
In our young patients, the first thing that comes to our mind is gum disease when we see the teeth separating and moving forward. It is not normal for a tooth in its normal position to move at a young age. It can be a sign of serious problems. These individuals should be examined with advanced tests, and the source of this situation should be addressed and its progression should be prevented. Scaling and curettage are the initial treatments applied in these cases. The priority is to restore the health of the area, and then the treatment plan is made to eliminate the aesthetic problems.
