Intelligence is a person's; thinking, reasoning, perceiving objective reality, comprehending, judging, deducing, abstracting and learning. As psychologists today, we can say more about the above dictionary definition of intelligence. Intelligence does not only consist of logical intelligence. Today we examine intelligence in seven sub-branches.
1- Logical Intelligence (Mathematical Intelligence)
2- Visual Intelligence (Spatial Intelligence)
3- Emotional Intelligence (Personal Intelligence) and Interpersonal/Social Intelligence)
4- Verbal Intelligence (Linguistic Intelligence)
5- Bodily Intelligence (Kinesthetic Intelligence)
6- Musical Intelligence (Rhythmic Intelligence) )
7- Natural Intelligence (Existential Intelligence)
The dictionary definition of intelligence you read at the beginning of the article only defines logical intelligence. While we are making some decisions about the education system, politics, family communication and many other issues, we cannot sufficiently cover the whole humanity. One of the reasons for this is the superficial definition we make about intelligence. We think that people who draw well, dance well, question themselves and learn languages quickly are not smart when their exam results are not high. Although some circles in the 21st century have knowledge about this issue, most people in our country and around the world still have not reached real information on this issue yet. You can learn seven types of intelligence in this article and share information with your environment. You will both go further in the journey of meeting yourself and you can work to make the decisions to be taken in the field of education in our country more accurate. Let's take a look at the contents of the seven intelligence types I mentioned.

I have given some recommendations below to better understand the seven intelligence types and to perform better in these intelligence types. You can give advice to your surroundings as you do it yourself.
Exercises
1- Logical/Mathematical Intelligence: You can research the cause-effect relationship of events. Questions about what causes an event and what are the consequences of this event will increase your use of cause-effect intelligence. You can also suggest the same exercise if there is a child-young person you are interested in. All of the practices on cause and effect are made in the disciplines of science and philosophy. Readings or trainings in these cases will increase mathematical intelligence and make it functional.
2- Visual/Spatial Intelligence: You can try reading a map. You can research the districts of the city you live in and make weekend trips. Examining the neighborhood, district, province, country and world maps will increase your visual/spatial intelligence. At the same time, you can learn the historical development process of any subject by reading this information on the map. Because abstract expressions and words in the mind give better learning and remembering results if they are connected with places. Reading and being informed about the geography and world maps you live in will also increase your existential connections with yourself. You can also recommend this exercise to children-young people you are interested in.
3- Emotional Intelligence: Emotional intelligence is the best way to increase communication with yourself. During the day, you can take notes as you experience the events that make you happy and angry (there may be other emotions). The question of why I am experiencing this feeling will help increase your emotional intelligence. At the same time, if we have a structure that denies or suppresses our emotions, we can bring our experiences and emotions to light and reflect on them instead of forgetting or suppressing them as soon as possible. However, emotional intelligence is the ability to read the emotions of the other person. capacity. In your communication with a person, giving importance to and trying to make sense of that person's feelings instead of dealing with the logical causes and consequences of what the other person does will increase awareness of emotional intelligence. We can increase our awareness by listening to our own and others' feelings. If there are children and young people you are interested in, you can suggest the same practices.
4- Verbal/Linguistic Intelligence: You can learn your own language better or learn a foreign language to increase your verbal intelligence. Learning in your own language will enable you to discover the contents of the words you use and the historical background of the words used. At the same time, if you learn a foreign language, you will learn the structures in your own language while deciphering the grammatical structure in that language. There are plenty of Ottoman, Arabic and Persian words in our language, Turkish. The journey you will take to know the root of any word that you are curious about the meaning of will awaken different consciousnesses in you. If you are wondering which word, you can search the internet by typing what is the root of that word. If there are children and young people you are interested in, you can also suggest these exercises to them.
5- Physical/Kinesthetic Intelligence: You can do any sport regardless of its type. Sports that will increase body awareness are aimed at increasing physical intelligence. Sports with body weight (sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups and different versions of these movements) and sports that increase body flexibility (plates and yoga) can be done. Moreover, there are videos on the Internet that explain how to do each move. You can get this opportunity without paying any fee. If there are children and adolescents you are interested in, you can recommend these sports to them. You can do sports as a group and add a new dimension to your activities.
6- Musical Intelligence: Learning to play a musical instrument is the most beneficial of the studies on this type of intelligence. If you cannot allocate the necessary financial and time resources, you can try to distinguish the instruments in the music you listen to. You can also suggest these exercises to the child-adolescent people you are interested in.
7-   ; Nature Intelligence: You can watch a documentary or, if you have the opportunity, observe the creatures in nature. At the same time, questioning and learning about the origin of the universe and time are the best practices you can do in nature intelligence. If there are child-adolescent people you are interested in, you can also suggest them.
Recognizing the types of intelligence and developing our different types of intelligence increases our familiarity with ourselves. Therapy itself is especially shaped by the person's awareness, understanding and expression of their emotions, that is, it is a study on emotional intelligence. You can also apply these practices and create your own practices. In addition, knowing and valuing different types of intelligence is one of the new plans that should be made regarding education in our country. It is especially important for children and young people to know and practice different types of intelligence. You can contribute to this process by sharing this article or different content related to the subject with your environment.
