Even though Anxiety and Depression are different, they interact with and affect each other.
Often, negative emotions do not come clearly. Anxiety and depression often go together. In fact, these two emotions are very different. Anxiety; It occurs as a result of the perception of danger and you cannot help but say that something bad will happen at any moment. For example, if you have a fear of the dark, you start writing disaster scenarios in case of a short power outage. I'm stuck in the dark, no one can find me here, I'm going to have a heart attack and faint right here, etc. You think of many negative thoughts. When you feel depressed, you feel like something bad has happened. You are sad, unhappy and depressed. You feel worthless. The things you used to do with pleasure now seem bad and unpleasant to you, and you have lost interest in people and the environment. You feel deep hopelessness and as if nothing will ever change and you think you will be unhappy forever.
If you are depressed, you also feel anxious, and if you struggle with anxiety, you are prone to feeling depressed. The reason why depression and anxiety occur together has not been fully explained, but there are some theories about it; And there is no doubt that panic attacks can be felt and affect our personal lives, especially as the severity of anxiety increases. This leads to low morale. Some people, despite years of medication and psychotherapy, cannot get rid of anxiety and complain, which ultimately makes them feel depressed.
Depression causes anxiety; For example, if you are depressed, you worry about feeling flawed, worthless, and unhappy. You fear and feel anxious that depression will interfere with your work or personal life, that your depressed mood will make you feel negative in achieving your goals, and that you will never be happy again.
