With the BLW method, the baby eats slowly and as much as he wants. While eating, your baby also feels the smell, taste and consistency of the food. With the BLW method, it is an attempt to eat the food put in front of you with your own hand. BLW purpose is to improve the baby's ability to feed.
BLWin order to be applied, the baby must be 6 months old and be able to sit with support. So, when it comes to the question of what should be served to the baby, seasonal vegetables are cut into pieces that fit in the palm of the baby's hand (in the shape of fingers), boiled in the oven or in water, and served on an unbreakable plate placed in front of the baby. The baby decides how much to eat. Foods offered to the baby should be softened appropriately and in a consistency that can be mashed on the palate, and grainy or broken-in pieces should never be given.
BLW The first and most important condition for starting is for the baby to be able to sit upright. You will not leave your baby unattended while the baby is feeding itself. Foods selected according to months are given to the baby according to the 3-day rule. Do not feed your father unhealthy while feeding your baby, whether with theBLW method or the supplementary food method. You should choose seasonal vegetables and fruits, and do not prefer exaggerated, packaged, processed foods containing preservative chemicals.
Remember, no matter which method you choose, your baby should sit at the table with you and eat with table manners, without any visual stimuli that will distract his attention. He must learn to eat. Don't be sad if your baby doesn't eat his food, don't scream with joy if he eats, food is a physiological need.
