There is a High Risk of Developing Obesity and Related Diseases: Children with early puberty are likely to be overweight in their later years. On the other hand, the risk of developing insulin resistance, Type 2 diabetes, fatty liver, Metabolic Syndrome and Cardiovascular Diseases also increases.
It May Cause an Increase in the Risk of Cancer Development: It has been determined that for every 1 year that the age of menstruation shifts earlier, the risk of developing Breast Cancer increases by 5%. It has been observed that the risk of developing Endometrial Cancer is 32% lower in those who menstruate late compared to those who menstruate at a young age.
As a result, girls who enter early puberty are at risk of developing a wide variety of health problems. These problems, which may arise in later life, affect the girl's adult life. It can negatively affect your time and being late can cause irreversible problems. For this reason, it is important for the family to recognize early puberty and take it to the endocrine center for diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible.
