A baby perceives his own existence and self from the way his mother looks at him and her behavior. The mother or caregiver is a kind of mirror. If the mother is happy while looking at her, the baby will perceive herself as good, and if the mother is angry, the baby will perceive himself as bad. The fact that humans are social beings, which is why they need care more than other living creatures, causes a negative impact on loneliness in later ages.
