How can I support my child's development correctly?
If we want to support our child's development correctly, we should basically look at three areas.
The first area is the individual characteristics of the child.
My child's nature should be taken into consideration and what he enjoys doing. Since this issue is discussed a lot, I want to focus more on the other two areas.
The second area is the environment.
What kind of messages does the child receive from his environment? We need to look at what messages he receives from his family, school, movies he watches, and games he spends time with. Does the environment convey messages to the child that he is behind, that he is ordinary, or does it emphasize that he has unique aspects waiting to be discovered? Are the heroes he watches figures with super powers that he can never reach, or is our child growing up with stories of what ordinary people can change?
The immediate environment changes our child's basic beliefs.
These messages. Over time, it will change his mental patterns. You can think of this process as if your child's glasses are getting worse and he cannot see the truth more clearly. As the child receives the messages that he/she is weak and unsuccessful, he/she will interpret the difficulties he/she experiences as insurmountable.
The third area is the system we live in.
To whom does the big system give the power and what? It is necessary to focus on this area, what makes it valuable, what makes it worthless, what it offers individuals as a target to focus on, and what role the rule-makers of this system assign to you.
