So, what should those who want to achieve a more impressive, fit and shining appearance at their wedding do? Specialist Dr. Şafak Göktaş gave information about medical aesthetic procedures that can be applied during wedding preparations.

The end of the quarantine days also means the beginning of the wedding season. Brides and grooms who want to look perfect on this most special day of their lives shine at their weddings with medical aesthetic procedures. Of course, the guests also stand out with these touches.

Botox: The best time for Botox is approximately 1 month before the wedding. Although Botox, which is applied mostly to forehead, between the eyebrows and crow's feet wrinkles, starts to show its effect in 3 days, it takes up to 15 days for it to fully sit on the face. While Botox eliminates wrinkles, it also provides vitality, brightness, radiance and the effect of pulling the face upwards. Botox is checked and retouched 15 days after application. After the retouching, it takes 1 month for the appearance to take its final form once the botox has set in.

Filler: The filler contains a type of protein called hyaluronic acid. Fillers are generally applied to the lips, between the eyebrows, cheekbones, nose, chin, smile lines, chin contour (jawline), forehead, neck and hands, and give volume and shape to these areas. Since the filler has water retention properties, its effect increases if you drink plenty of water after application. The filler shows its effect immediately after it is applied. The full effect is visible after retouching after 15 days. For this reason, it is ideal to be applied 15-21 days before the wedding.

PRP/Mesotherapy: PRP is defined as the process of injecting the nourishing and restorative cells called platelets, which are obtained after spinning the person's own blood in a centrifuge device at high speed, into the skin. Mesotherapy is known as the process of administering vitamins and minerals under the skin, which revitalizes the skin, brightens it, makes it look more vigorous and reduces blemishes. Both procedures show their effect at the highest level when performed in 3-4 sessions. Since PRP and Mesotherapy are performed within 7-15 days, the applications start approximately 1 hour before the wedding. Starting 1.5 months before gives a radiant skin appearance at the wedding.

Lipolysis: Lipolysis is a process applied to areas with stubborn fat that is difficult to thin and melt, with a total of four 10 cc injectors. Lipolysis starts burning fat immediately after injection, and its effect becomes noticeable after the first session, along with the accompanying diet and sports program. In the lipolysis process applied to hips, inner legs, waist circumference, arms, armpits, chin and cellulite areas, the number of sessions varies between 1-3 depending on the person. Walking and following the nutrition plan increases the effect. If the walking and nutrition schedule is followed with one session of lipolysis, an average of 5-13 cm of waist circumference is lost, and a 1-2 size reduction is usually achieved in one session. After lipolysis, visible thinning and loosening of clothes will be noticed in the first 10 days. That's why it's important to follow the program in the first 10 days. Since the fat will take between 4-6 weeks to break down after the procedure, it would be appropriate to do it 1-1.5 months before the wedding. In this way, wedding dresses, groom suits and suits can be entered more easily.
