We have all asked ourselves this desperate question at some point in our lives. Unlike the days when you woke up with hope in the past, you may now wake up with a pain in your chest. Your old cheerful mood may have been replaced by dark clouds. Maybe you've done everything to get rid of this uncomfortable feeling and pain. But all you did was to get you deeper into the mire rather than saving you from this pain. You're stuck in a never-ending state of feeling bad. If you are faced with such a situation, I can say that you are faced with a much more serious problem than you can solve. In such a predicament, you need to get help, professional help. Just as we do not attempt to treat cancer at home, we cannot expect to get out of this impasse, which is one of the most psychologically challenging situations, with our efforts at home.
How does a step-by-step counseling process work?

First of all, when we are in a fire, we cannot even understand where the fire started and how intense it burned, let alone why it started. A perspective that can be impartial and looks from the outside allows you to first see what you are in.

Understanding what you are in is the biggest step. Once you can understand this, you begin to 'go through' that state. If it is sadness, it is sadness, if it is injustice, it is injustice, if it is anger, it is anger. Whatever you have inside you, you start to experience it and give it its due. For this reason, in the first sessions, you will be a little shaken and feel that the wound inside you is starting to bleed. However, this bleeding is not met with an effort to cover it up, as in the past, but with an intention to heal.

When you begin to listen to the emotions and internalize that situation, the journey towards the cause begins. Now that the fire has died down, you begin to discover one by one why that fire broke out, what fueled it, and what helped extinguish it. This journey is the longest part of the healing process. Because you have so many different learnings. By confronting the tons of answers you gave to the question of what life was like as a child, one by one, you begin to rebuild yourself as an adult who chooses life.

Your life does not stop during all these discoveries. A new topic and discovery in each session. Maybe he will greet you. But each time, you start to become more knowledgeable and competent, like someone who has become his own doctor. This is one of the most beautiful aspects of healing and being able to see.
