Hot environments cause varicose veins to expand further, slow down the blood flow inside, and therefore cause clot formation! In order to keep the body temperature balanced, there is a severe loss of water through constant breathing and skin in hot weather. These water losses cause the blood to darken and turn into clots, especially in hot and humid regions. For this reason, clots in the brain, clot formation in the heart vessels, clot development in the varicose veins of the legs and especially in less active people and the elderly are much more common in the summer months. All these disorders can lead to very serious consequences such as stroke, heart attack, lung clots and leg swelling. To prevent these, one should never stay under the sun between 10 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon, and avoid hot and humid environments.
AVOID STANDING UNDER THE SUN...
Protective. Sunscreens are actually more of a medical necessity than tanning. In addition to all these problems, global warming and the depletion of the ozone layer, the rise of carbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere, and intense air pollution cause skin cancer, wrinkles and premature skin aging. In the summer months, body water intake and the amount of water consumed should be kept to a minimum per day. It should be 3 liters. However, if there are already known health problems or if blood thinners are consumed, it would be beneficial to use it more carefully.
Is there any risk in swimming for heart patients?
Especially cardiovascular patients should prefer water activities before 10 in the morning or after 4 o'clock, when the intensity of sunlight disappears. Outside these hours, shaded, dry and breezy areas should be preferred, and the body and brain should rest with an afternoon nap. Finally, if we were to give a few recommendations, vegetable dishes should be the only choice on our tables in the summer months. Flour, salt, sugar and white rice are the biggest enemies of human health in summer, as in all seasons. For this reason, protein-rich legumes should be preferred in addition to diets based on vegetables, preferably raw vegetables and fruits.
