Nose deformity may be a result of developmental or subsequent injury. It should not be forgotten that the successful result in aesthetic surgery is closely related to the emotional structure of the person.
How is Nose Aesthetic Surgery Performed?

What Should Be Considered Before Surgery?
Aesthetic nose The most suitable age for surgery is after the age of 17, when the facial bones complete their development. An issue as important as age is the person's full health. As in every plastic surgery, routine examinations should be done before rhinoplasty. If each person smokes, it should be stopped or reduced at least 2-3 weeks in advance, and alcohol should not be consumed a few days before. >
Duration and Anesthesia in Nose Surgery
Aesthetic nose surgeries can be performed with sedation-assisted local anesthesia or, if desired, with general anesthesia. The operation time is approximately 1.5 hours. However, it may take longer depending on the nature of the surgery. It can also be intervened to relieve nasal congestion when necessary.
During the surgery, excess bone, cartilage structure and soft tissue are removed and reshaped, clearing nose defects and creating a new nose compatible with the face. Sometimes it may be necessary to add tissue to create the desired shape.
Post-Operative Healing Process
A mold is applied to maintain the new shape formed at the end of the surgery and small tampons are applied to the nose. is placed.
The post-operative period is generally uneventful, and in surgeries performed under local anesthesia, the patient is sent home after resting for 1-2 hours. In the operations performed under general anesthesia in the hospital, the patient can be discharged after an average of 8 hours.
Patients feel almost no pain in the days after the operation. Cold application is recommended to reduce bruising and swelling. Nasal pads are usually removed in 1-2 days, and the mold on the nose is removed on the 7th day, and silk bands can be applied for 4-5 days if necessary.
The bruises around the eyes are minimal and fade in the days after the surgery and disappear completely in 7-10 days. Then, within two days, the patient feels good and is able to go out, but it is useful to wait for the bruises and swelling to decrease before starting work. p>For the first two months, one should stay away from sports activities, avoid the sun, not go to the solarium, sauna and swim in the pool. After removing the mold on the nose, make-up can be applied to cover the bruises, but glasses should not be used for 2 months.
