While drifting in the intense flow of life, there are personality structures that are constantly visible around us, as well as unnoticed, leaving themselves to drift alone in the void of space, present in society even though we do not realize it, but only maintaining their physical existence, emotionally detached and distant. There are also personality structures called 'schizoid'.
The family relationships of the schizoid personality structure are different from other personality structures. No matter what the child does for the parents, he did not see the feelings such as love, compassion and ownership that he needs in return. In the relationship between the child and the parents, the emotional needs of the child from the family were not fully met, and it turned into a one-way relationship. Some parents, on the contrary, limit the child too much, do not allow his relationship with the environment, and lock the child in a living space that they want, and disconnect the child from the outside world. These behaviors exhibited by the parents on their children cause their children to become introverted, to break their relationship with the outside world, to withdraw from communication and into their own shells. The main reason for the formation of the schizoid personality structure comes not from their inability to communicate, but from the thought that the interaction and communication they want to establish with the other party is not a safe and healthy way. There is an introversion in which they protect themselves due to the concern that they or the other party will be harmed. Although schizoid structures want love and intimacy the most, they avoid revealing their feelings and establishing relationships. Schizoid personalities are attention-hungry, but one bite too much will make them vomit. Because when they establish love and intimacy, they worry and withdraw because their existence will be evident and they will have to communicate with people. Schizoid personality structures get away from the real world, which is dangerous for them, and build a fantasy world where they feel safe. They experience the events and feelings that they want to do in real life, but cannot do, to their heart's content in that dream world they have created. While schizoid personality structures continue their lives, they experience various anxieties. These worries it makes it difficult for them to relate to the real world by causing them to stay in their fantasy world. For example, when choosing clothes, they avoid wearing colorful and striking clothes and prefer more modest clothes. Because they are worried that they will have to show their presence and establish relationships by attracting attention.
Schizoid personality structures prefer to be alone even in their career choices, and they usually tend to areas that do not require communication with people, such as software engineering, computer engineering, writing, and painting. Just because schizoid structures are alone doesn't mean they're unsuccessful. We see that they can also come to good places in their careers because they are people of serious duty in their profession.
