Societies have implemented discriminatory policies against addicted people for a long time from a eugenic perspective, although the dosage varies. These policies include people whose lives have been taken away or who have been isolated from society and forced to live in remote places. So What is Addiction?

Addiction makes people feel good. It is a result that he encountered as a result of his efforts. When people encounter a situation, action, item, person, etc. that makes them happy and begins to fill the void inside them, they want to repeat it. These repetitions may, after a while, cause some mechanisms in the brain to work irregularly. The disease begins to occur and progresses gradually. Addiction is a chronic brain disease affected by biological, psychological and genetic factors. Every individual is affected by the culture and social life conditions in which he lives. Addiction cannot be considered separately from these conditions. It is multi-layered. It can be considered in a similar pattern to diabetes or blood pressure disease. It does not heal completely, but it can improve if some vital conditions and what needs to be done are taken into consideration. It usually begins to occur within dysfunctional family structures. The pace of progress may take different periods of time for each individual. It is examined on two levels: Factual (Behavioral) and Material. There are several varieties available. However, regardless of the type of addiction, it is a powerful disease that can directly affect people's quality and flow of life.
