Rebirth

Change, renewal, no pain, no gain, sacrifice, rebirth, resetting, giving up, starting over, resetting... When these issues come to the fore, there is a myth that circulates not only in Turkey but all over the world. It is an inspiring story that tells the painful period that eagles go through to extend their lives.

They say:

“The eagle is the longest living bird species. There are eagles that live up to 70 years. However, in order to reach this age, he has to make a very serious and difficult decision when he is in his 40s.

When the eagle reaches 40 years of age, its claws harden and lose flexibility, and therefore it becomes unable to grasp and hold the prey it feeds. Its beak becomes longer and curves towards its chest. Its feathers become thicker, thicker and begin to get stuck on its wings.

It has now become more difficult for the eagle to fly.

Therefore, the eagle must make one of two choices here. He will either choose death or face the painful and difficult process of rebirth.

Deciding in this direction, the eagle flies to the top of a mountain and stays there in its nest on a rock wall, in a place where it no longer needs to fly.

After finding this suitable place, the eagle begins to hit the rock hard with its beak. starts. Finally, the eagle's beak comes loose and falls. The eagle waits for a while for its new beak to grow. After its beak grows, it removes its claws with this new beak. When its new claws grow, the eagle begins to pluck its old feathers.

After 5 months, the eagle is ready to make its famous flight of rebirth, which grants it a life of 20 years or more.”

Isn't that impressive?

Well, haven't we also had periods where we made difficult decisions to improve our living standards? Of course it happened. Some of us did not know what to do during this period, some of us gathered all our courage and started life over again. Some of them continued to count where they were, so to speak.

Change, renewal, gain, sacrifice, rebirth and living from scratch are among the things that make us humans exist, even though they may be intimidating words. Because we all have to change or have changed in life. We have encountered situations where we had to deal with it. Or we have taken new steps to make a profit. And we've always had periods in life where we made a lot of sacrifices. What is the view you see when you look back? Isn't it you who achieve things, give direction and create yourself again and stronger?

Just like the Phoenix story I mentioned in one of my previous articles, the theme in the Eagle story is actually the same. In order to live our lives in a better, healthier and more productive way, we either rise from our ashes and renew ourselves, or we give up everything like the eagle does and then flap our wings to a new life. So, eventually, no matter how much we think we have been reset, we are reborn.

Hoping that this and all similar stories will always be a source of motivation for you in your life.
