What are the Stages of Breast Cancer?

Although it is possible to have an idea about the stage of cancer as a result of the tests and scans performed in women with breast cancer, it cannot be said exactly what stage it is without surgery.

The staging system called TNM is the most commonly used staging system.

Here, T refers to the diameter of the tumor, N refers to lymph involvement, and M refers to metastasis.

Accordingly, the cancer is staged as Stage1, Stage2, Stage3, Stage4

1. Stage: 2cm of tumor. or smaller,

Stage 2 means that the tumor is larger than 2cm but smaller than 5cm.

Tumors larger than 5cm are stage 3.

Tumors larger than 5cm are stage 3.
