HOW TO DETOX?

Detox; It is a body cleansing performed in the form of a liquid fast. The aim is to slow down digestion and rest the body. A healthy human body spends a lot of time and energy on nutrition, especially fast food. It takes 6-8 hours to digest a meat meal, 3-4 hours for a carbohydrate meal, 1-2 hours for a vegetable meal, and a maximum of half an hour for fruit. So, when we look at the total processes, digestion is a situation that seriously tires the body. This causes toxins to accumulate in the body as a result of long-term digestion. The detox process, in which digestion slows down, is a good cleansing opportunity for your body to rest.
Detox is not about starving, but about consuming the energy your body needs, in liquid format, in a way that provides adequate vitamin and mineral support.

While Detoxing What Should Be Considered?

We do not use beverages such as coffee, black tea, cola, energy drinks, acidic drinks and alcohol during the detox process because we do not want to put a burden on our liver.
The first drink you consume every morning; You should have 2 glasses of water at room temperature and drink 2 liters of water daily.
Freshly squeezed vegetable or fruit juice (except acidic ones, especially orange juice) can be consumed throughout the day.
Cucumber for breakfast. You can use foods of non-animal origin such as tomatoes, peppers, olives, a toasted slice of rye bread, corn flakes, fruit salad, and oats.
You should prefer your herbal teas warm, not hot.

The last meal should be consumed between 19:00-20:00 in the evening, and no food should be consumed afterwards.

How is Detox Done?

2 glasses of warm water should be consumed every morning before breakfast, and cold pressed fresh fruit and vegetable juice should be consumed instead of breakfast. Fresh fruit, dried fruit or oilseeds can be preferred for snacks. You can drink warm herbal tea after meals. Legumes, lean and boiled vegetables and salads can be consumed in main meals. Protein needs are met from legumes, but if you insist on eating food of animal origin, you can consume 150-200 grams of lean, cooked fish. Meat and dairy products, processed foods, sugar and carbohydrates should never be consumed.
The detox program is also a mental relaxation program. Because hormonal changes caused by stress cause wear and tear on the body and changes in weight. During your detox process, it is recommended that you stay away from electronic devices, places with high air pollution and intense work tempo.

How to Continue?

The first 3 days are difficult for you to change your habits. This is the time period when things change, so it is very important for you to be determined. During this period, you can increase the amount and frequency of your snacks. Fresh air, plenty of water and rest are very important. During the first few days, you may experience headache, fatigue, cold-like symptoms, diarrhea, stomach cramps, muscle or joint pain, and even a skin rash. These types of symptoms are very rare, but if you encounter such problems, do not panic. These are just side effects of the adaptation process. On days 2 and 3, your body begins to adapt to your new nutritional system. To accelerate the elimination of toxins, it will be useful to sweat by doing sports or going to the sauna. However, do not try this with excessive exercise because it will cause lactic acid to accumulate in your body and reduce the detox effect. It would be better to choose sports such as light walking, swimming, yoga and cycling. On days 2 and 5, you will feel your energy increasing, adapting to this new life and feeling lighter. You can be sure that you will sleep less and wake up more refreshed. Your body, which has eliminated all harmful waste during this period, will now be fitter and brighter. You will notice that your skin is glowing. On the 2nd and 7th days, you will start your life completely adjusted, with a very bright skin, lighter and with a clearer mind. You can be sure that you are in a clear state.

How Long Does It Apply?

The minimum duration of a detox program is 4 days, ideally 7 days. While you can repeat this every season (4 times a year), we recommend doing it at least twice a year. Of course, we would like to remind you again that you need to be careful about how to live in between.
