PRP (PLATELET RICH PLASMA)

PRP, a medical application, is an important treatment method that improves the skin with the growth factors it contains.

Platelets are the main source of growth factors that are effective in the wound healing process. Normal individuals have between 150-400 thousand platelets. With the centrifugation performed after the procedure, this rate increases 3-4 times.

Approximately 10 cc of blood taken from the person is separated into its components by a process called centrifugation. The platelet-rich plasma obtained is administered to the same person by injection. The aim of this procedure is to benefit from the skin regeneration and restorative effects of growth factors effective in wound healing. It increases collagen synthesis in the tissue and helps skin regeneration.
