Breast lift surgery; It is the lifting of the breast tissue using different techniques, under general anesthesia, in approximately 2-2.5 hours, depending on the degree of sagging. After the surgery, we wear a specially prepared
bra similar to a sports bra. You will stay in the hospital for 1 night after the surgery.
You will be discharged the next day after your check-ups.
Post-Operative Pain
Pain is no different from other surgeries. It is relieved with painkillers.
Post-Surgery Recovery
After the surgery, you stay in the hospital for 1 night. In such surgeries, I decide to use a drain depending on the size and amount of sagging of the breast. If a drain is used, the drain is removed on the 3rd day. Drain is used to remove the dirty blood accumulated in the surgical area from the body. After the 3rd day, 1st week and 2nd week checks are performed. In the 2nd week, the stitches are removed and we begin your scar removal treatment.
There will be swelling in your breasts for a certain period of time, and these swellings will decrease as the days go by. Resting for 1
week after the surgery will be sufficient.
Scars After Surgery
It is normal for scars to remain where each incision is made. Scars will vary depending on the incision scar decided for surgery
. These scars will be the type that can be hidden with a bra or bikini. Over time, the clarity of the scars will decrease.
Breastfeeding After Surgery
Breastfeeding is continued. In some cases, milk decrease
Possible Side Effects After Surgery
Blood Accumulation (hematoma): It is noticed early. It can be prevented with a short intervention.
Size Difference: After the surgery, the two breasts continue to maintain their pre-operative difference.
Loss of Breastfeeding: In some cases, a decrease in milk may occur.
