In obsessive personality disorders, the impairment in the person's work and social life is serious. They try to control most things in life, but they feel intense unrest and tension in the face of events they cannot control. They also think that they are responsible for their relatives. Their expectations from them are also high. The functionality of life is significantly impaired. When things don't go their way, they choose to punish. The to-do list is so long that it is endless. Even a simple job cannot be completed due to details or the work done is not satisfactory. They don't like what others do either. Even an enjoyable activity can become torture. Human relations are troubled due to their stubborn and uncompromising attitudes. They act extremely strict and conservative regarding morality, truth and values. They do not understand and cannot empathize with emotionally charged behavior. A very organized and meticulous mother causes discomfort and inability to move comfortably at home. With a father who expects everything to be perfect, imperfections are perceived as the biggest disaster in the world. These parents love their children conditionally. Children are loved if they are project-like, follow the rules, are organized and hard-working. They mostly conflict with their teenage children. Order, control, cleanliness, symmetry, sexual or religious obsessions may be seen in these people. If there is hopelessness, burnout and helplessness caused by these obsessions, help should be sought. Again, depression, sexual dysfunction and psychosomatic complaints are frequently observed in these people. Trying to be perfect, the abundance of work and responsibilities, and delays in work due to procrastination increase anxiety. Their inflexibility, rigidity, and perfectionist approach can cause deep hurt and despair. They may experience headaches, high blood pressure, stomach and intestinal problems.

For the next period of his life, he wishes to return to the state of well-being he had before what happened to him. Resilience is a maturation journey that combines the patience of recovery with the teaching of experiencing the new. Resilience is defined as “ordinary magic”. Because it is not an extraordinary skill as it seems. Get the magic of resilience Everyone has the potential to turn it into reality. Perhaps the biggest misconception about resilience is that a person thinks that he will be completely alone in his struggle. However, loneliness begins in the mind. As the mind makes peace with negative emotions and feeds on new information, it enriches itself with minds outside itself and expands its field of action. Dawn reaches from the past to the future, from the darkest moment of the end of the day to the brightness of the day to come. The sun rises the same. But the day you wake up is different. There is the opportunity to try again every new day. What reveals ordinary magic is not giving up trying.
