What Diet Isn't Actually?

The mind made the decision and the body started to change.

Body size in the mind, self-image, dangerous negative calorie intake, hunger, accompanying eating disorders, decreased immunity, diseases, increasing calorie intake again, weight regain and Diet process again. The title is “I'm on a diet”. We are in a vicious circle in the perception of diet.

Our tired body and mind say enough is enough and we return to our own safe space. We also fill our needs in this area with food. We become an unhappy "me", but we do not dare to start a diet.

The concept of diet has become confusing, tiring and troublesome nowadays. We think countless times when going on a diet because what will happen is obvious. I'm on a diet, I don't eat any bread, I eat two meals a day, I'm on a diet, I only consume liquids, I need to get my body in shape in a few weeks, so I don't eat... The sentences that will come true are already in memory. Nowadays, the word diet has become a synonym for words such as prohibitions, restrictions, hunger, longing, stress, slimming. The word diet adopted in this way also creates misperceptions about the idea of going to a dietician.

In fact, diet is defined as a daily eating pattern implemented in order to protect and regulate our health, which means 'diaita' (lifestyle) in Ancient Greek. It is a diet based on healthy nutrition, including weight gain and loss as well as disease-specific medical nutrition when necessary.

Every diet is personal. Amounts, meals, metabolism, and calories needed are planned individually. No dietitian focuses only on weight loss, they set out by taking into consideration metabolic health, any diseases, medications, body fat, water and protein. The goal on this path is not to starve. All roads are planned to lead to health.

Each person creates his own belief and truth with his own mind and patience. When your focus is on the pursuit of success, the journey will be healthier and more enjoyable. With health.
