Why do panic attacks occur? Why does psychological illness suddenly appear as if having a heart attack? Think of this situation like this: A panic attack is a heart attack of the soul. Just as the risk factors that prepare a heart attack are smoking, sedentary life, poor nutrition, loveless lifestyle and the like, various risk factors can be mentioned in a panic attack; Risk factors such as your over-giving, counter-focused, over-responsible personality structure, taking on too much in life, too strong a stance, too analytical thinking, and a lifestyle that is too focused on society and family may trigger a panic attack. Like a vein that can manage even when 90 percent of it is blocked, a panic attack occurs when your mood reaches a point where you resist and cannot handle it. In the first days after the attack, if you quickly open the "clogged vessels in your soul", the symptoms will quickly improve. However, if you do not open the veins and change your life by just taking medications with the "I'm sick" attitude, you will be doomed to a limited, unhappy, tired life like those who experience heart failure after a heart attack. You had a panic attack and then your work, family and social life changed; You feel threatened, just like someone who has had a heart attack. With the constant expectation of attack, you are almost preparing yourself for a fearful, restricted, topsy-turvy life. The medications you are taking have only partially worked, and each new doctor you visit either adds a new medication or changes your medication. You are no longer thinking of going to the emergency room, but you are constantly anxiously waiting with bad scenarios in your mind. You feel like someone who is disabled and chronically ill. So, are panic attacks really a disease? Are you that desperate?
Of course you are not helpless; The fact that you look at the panic attack that brought you to this point as if it were an illness makes you feel so helpless and bad. You should not look at the panic attack as an illness, but notice the message the attack is trying to give and realize that it is a defense.
Although there are similarities as in the analogy above, if you take the message of the panic attack and turn to the right psychotherapy with really bold moves, you will be completely It is very likely that you will get better and even be better than before.
I will discuss the right psychotherapy in my next article. m, stay with love and happiness!!
