Phylloides tumors are rare fibroepithelial lesions of the breast. They can be seen at any age, but they are most common between the ages of 35-55. They constitute less than 1% of all breast tumors. It is divided into three groups as benign, borderline and malignant phyllodes, and 25% of it consists of the malignant group with a bad prognosis. Clinically, they appear as a benign mass in the breast and usually grow rapidly. In some patients, the lesion may present clinical findings in the form of sudden growth after many years. Phyllodes tumors can be distinguished histologically from fibroadenomas, usually by increased stromal cellularity and mitotic activity. Regardless of the degree of phyllodes tumors, surgical intervention is essential in the primary treatment. Local excision, extended local excision or mastectomy may be performed. Preoperative diagnosis is also very important for planning the correct surgery. In these tumors, as the size of the mass increases, the risk of malignancy increases.
