This disorder can be seen not only in children, but also in adolescents and even adults.

There are distinguishing characteristics between normally active and hyperactive children. The behavior of a normally active child is harmonious, continuous and purposeful. If there is a restrictive environment and the child needs to concentrate his attention, his mobility decreases, but when he experiences stress, his mobility increases.

Instead of exaggerated and praising expressions such as "You are a genius, you are the smartest child in the class, you drew the most beautiful picture I have ever seen, only you can handle this task", appreciation such as "You are making an effort to do your homework, I think you have concentrated your attention well, I congratulate you for this behavior" Expressions with content should be used.

Watching violent and highly stimulating videos and playing such games frequently; It damages the frontal lobe, the brain region responsible for attention, impulsive control and planning, and can increase the severity of ADHD symptoms. Therefore, families need to impose limits on electronic stimuli such as TV, tablet, and phone.

As ADHD children are prevented, warned, and punished, the severity of ADHD symptoms increases and it becomes more difficult for them to control their behavior. Families and teachers need to ignore problematic behavior and direct their attention to the area that interests them.

Establishing a bond with the child with ADHD instead of being stubborn will prevent possible conflicts and ensure positive communication.
