Antibiotics, which were first discovered at the beginning of the 20th century, began to be used during World War II, and many bacterial infectious diseases have been prevented even for centuries. Specialist stated that even the plague, which is considered one of the most terrible threats, is no longer a serious threat in the 21st century, thanks to antibiotics. Therefore, correct timing in antibiotic use is very important. Many factors are important in choosing antibiotics when planning treatment, including the type of disease, its development, localization, the patient's current risk profile and disease history, the drugs used and his/her ethnicity. Patients need to be evaluated individually by the physician. He said, "Antibiotics should not be used without a doctor's recommendation." Dr. Gökpınar said, “Diseases caused by resistant bacteria have begun to pose a serious threat all over the world. It poses a serious health threat, especially in the intensive care environment and in patients with weakened immune systems. These diseases, caused by resistant bacteria, are resistant to treatment and lead to the development of complications and an increase in the rate of disease and death.
