Is Change Possible?

We all know Karl Marx's saying, "The only constant thing in the universe is change." And it is the expression of a great reality. There is also change in the universe and in the nature of man, which is its smaller example. The words "I do not change, I am who I am, I am not a fickle person, a person is the same at seventy as he is at seven, I will remain the same after forty years as I was forty years ago" actually contradict the facts of nature. Wanting change requires trust and belief. Taking risks requires courage and courage. Although human nature is open to change; The loss of things that one is accustomed to and does routinely without much effort creates fear. We don't feel safe. There are many actions we do without thinking in our life practice. Our brain has made these automatic. Just like using the same road every day to come from home to work, once, when the roads were being repaired, I saw that the road I used every day was closed, I was very angry. Like all of us, thinking about alternative routes and using that road did not make me feel good. Because I found it very difficult to break a certain automatic system. What actually happened was that the change was more energy consumption. Change was like putting a stick in a spinning wheel. The organism resists and prevents change in order to maintain the current integrity.

The skeleton of the human personality is shaped by the age of seven. Let's think of it like the rough construction of a building. Interior decoration and interior facade designs are always subject to change. If this were not the case, humanity would not be able to develop and change. The environment in which a person grows up, the education he receives, the environment he receives, and the visual and auditory stimuli he receives help shape his personality.

Insecure personalities are closed to change for fear of disintegrating in the face of new experiences. In fact, this is a situation that is very common with addictions. A person cannot even give up a habit that harms him/her out of insecurity. He has long forgotten how he lived without her. Getting used to the new situation is more difficult and requires a longer effort. For example, cigarette addictions; The harm of smoking to health is known and accepted by everyone, but people continue to smoke despite knowing this. Even the thought of quitting smoking makes them anxious. It may be enough to create. They constantly talk about not having money and having trouble making ends meet, and they invest almost all of their income into their addictions because they are afraid of change. For them, giving up requires courage. They complain about the absence of someone to help them, and there is something important they are missing here. The change lies within themselves.

Life is full of colors, it is necessary to see different frequencies. Is it possible to achieve change by internalizing it?

The answer to this question lies in taking action. Always advocating the same thoughts, always behaving in the same way, and dressing the same way is not a virtue. It is resistance to change. Now, remembering that we owe our survival to our ability to change, hoping to look at everything we prejudiced, our addictions, everything we say we won't eat or drink, from this perspective...
