We know that the medications and treatment process taken during this process can cause many side effects and Both social life and diet are affected. But we are always with you to minimize this, maintain body resistance and provide the necessary nutritional supplements to fight the disease.

Our recommendations to prevent cancer:

Foods with high nutritional value, namely; We should eat a diet rich in vegetables, fruits, whole grains and legumes
We should stay away from processed meat, foods containing sugar and sweeteners and refined grains
We should stay away from alcohol and cigarettes
We should continue physical activity and sleep regularly

So, how should one eat during the chemotherapy recovery process?

Small but frequent nutrition is effective in controlling food intake. One of the most common problems experienced by patients during treatment is loss of appetite. Therefore, nutritional intake can be increased by eating small and frequent meals. Foods such as nuts and bananas, which are sources of energy, may be among your preferences.
 DRUGS CAN CHANGE THE TASTE OF YOUR MOUTH


Chemotherapy drugs can affect the sense of taste, sense of smell, swallowing and chewing functions. In such cases; You can use various spices (basil, thyme, rosemary, cumin).


Mouth or Throat Sores:
•Should avoid smoking and alcohol use. •Eat food cold or at room temperature.
/> •You should avoid bitter, spicy, acidic and salty foods.
•Drink plenty of fluids.
•If you cannot swallow solid foods, you can puree the foods.


 Nausea and Vomiting. :
Eat little, often and slowly.
•When you have nausea, you can consume dry foods such as crackers, toast, roasted chickpeas. Avoid fatty foods, strong-smelling foods, and high-sugar foods.


 Diarrhea:
Chemotherapy drugs can cause diarrhea by affecting intestinal cells. In case of diarrhea, be careful to drink plenty of fluids. Avoid hot, spicy foods. •Do not consume raw vegetables and salads.
•Stay away from fruits such as plums, apricots, pears, melons, and vegetables with high fiber content such as broccoli, zucchini, peas.
•rice porridge or pasta, regular or probiotic yoghurt. You can consume it.
•You can eat salty crackers, salted biscuits.
•You can choose bananas, peaches, unpeeled apples and boiled potatoes.


Constipation:
When you experience constipation. ,  Make sure to consume 8-10 glasses of water a day.
•Increase your fluid intake. (Herbal teas, compote, compote, fruit juices)
•Increase your fiber food intake.
•Whole wheat bread, bulgur. You can consume oats, legumes, vegetables and fruits. •You can consume dried fruits (apricots, figs, plums, etc.).
