Babies and Communication, Speech

Babies start to communicate with their environment from birth. While newborns express their needs by crying, as the months pass, they are replaced by the sounds they make with different gestures, mimics and voice tones such as babbling and chirping. Considering that every baby's development is different, we can mention a few universal evaluations. 9. -12. In the month, babies should make sounds like daddy-da-da, k-ki. At 12 to 18 months, babies can consciously say tiny words. They can use words that are frequently used in the environment such as mother, water, glass, park, goodbye, and these words can go up to 20. 18.-24. At 12 months, babies begin to form two-word sentences. Mom park, give water, pee came, dad seems to be absent. And now his vocabulary can reach 50. At the age of 2-3, he can express himself, at the age of 3-5 he can make up his own words and tell stories. If he/she has difficulty in understanding what is being said, doesn't know the emotions behind the words
he/she said, cannot express his/her feelings, or both of them confuse him at the same time, creating a nervous baby, trying to communicate only with body language, repeating certain patterns in response to questions asked after the age of 3( let's go, let's go, let's go…), you can show your baby to a speech therapist or a psychologist.

What can we do?

You can introduce everything to your baby. Look, it's a yellow dog. Very big! The food is so delicious! Your father loves spinach very much. Your blue pillow seems so soft…

Answer every question she asks with the same care and encourage her to ask and investigate.

When your baby says something, you can try to open it and talk about it. For example, if he said Banana
, yes it is a banana. Yellow and crusty. Very healthy. I love bananas, do you? Wanna rob together? Like…

Television, tablet phones should never be exposed to babies under 2 years old.
