It is a return to essence, an inner journey. It is the cooperation of the two hemispheres of the brain in a single area. It is the ability of a person's subconscious to be able to receive suggestions in line with his/her request, to direct it. It is the right brain (imaginary order) taking control rather than the left brain (analytical plane). Also, hypnosis is a state of complete wakefulness, not sleep. During this deep awakening, the person has a deep perception of his inner world, although he closes himself to some of the stimuli in the outside world, similar to sleep. Hypnosis is a state of awareness and alertness experienced in the inner world. This belief arises from the inability to fully comprehend hypnosis, and the person who enters a trance with the expectation of not remembering anything thinks that they are not hypnotized when they remember what they have experienced. It is under his control whether or not to comply with the suggestions given by the therapist. If the client does not want to, he may not follow the suggestions, and he may disrupt the hypnotic state whenever he wants. Some people are more difficult to hypnotize than others, and some are more easily hypnotized. But this does not mean that these people have less ability to be hypnotized. If a person cannot create a hypnotic state even though he wants to, it means that there is an obstacle in his subconscious. Hypnosis can be used in fibromyalgia, social phobia, panic attacks, depression, trauma, phobic disorders. Hypnosis is a known method that can also be used for smoking cessation and weight loss.
