Fat Doesn't Turn into Muscle

Hello everyone, today I would like to tell you about a mistake we often hear. So, what is this wrong? "Turning fat into muscle." Unfortunately, turning fat into muscle, which is a phrase used especially for people who do sports, does not reflect the truth. The reason is that our fat consists of adipocyte cells, but our muscle consists of myocyte cells. There is no way these two cells can transform into each other! Now we have come home to the main topic, what can we do, how can I be fit if fat does not turn into muscle, or why do we go to the gym then?

  • Fat is burned as soon as it is converted. So, what does this mean? If you consume less energy than you need and spend more energy through a calorie-restricted diet and physical activity, your body will have to use the fat it stores as an energy source. In this way, your body weight will move downwards and you will lose weight. We can call this situation the fat loss or fat burning phase. You should continue this cycle until your body reaches the ideal fat rate. When you reach the ideal fat percentage range, the second begins.

  • Increasing muscle mass. We burned the fat and brought it to the ideal range. Of course, we need muscle mass for a more fit and aesthetic body. Muscle mass cannot be increased when there is an energy deficit, so you must either get exactly the energy you need or a little more than you need (+200-400 calories). Weight training and resistance exercises are of course indispensable, but do not forget to add small cardio in between and work the core (abdominal) area. Of course, the biggest part of the job is your diet. Remember, your body should receive a balanced intake of carbohydrates, protein and fat. Otherwise, it will be much more difficult to achieve your goal.
