Ten years ago, I wanted to have dental aesthetics. Your teeth had to be reduced, that is, cut. There may still be situations where we use these techniques. However, lately, we prefer the aesthetic application called 'laminate veneer', which we do without cutting the teeth. First of all, it is examined whether the person applying for the application is suitable. Photos are taken. A three-dimensional design is prepared in accordance with the person's face, nose structure, skin color and existing tooth relationship. The name of this process is known as wax-up. While it is impossible to tell the patient 'your nose will be like this' before rhinoplasty, it is possible to show and even test the final state of the teeth to the patient who will have uncut laminate veneer.
When this special dental coating is prepared, it is so thin that it is difficult to hold it. When bonded with its special adhesive, it integrates with the tooth and its structure becomes much stronger. Tooth rots from inside It can be used by biting anything for years. We have to comply with the 'first do no harm' rule, which is valid in all branches of medicine. Natural tooth enamel is almost sacred for us.
