In this way, since the stomach will not be empty in the morning, the severity of nausea will be less severe. Increasing the number of meals during the day to six and eating small but frequent meals reduces complaints. Consuming salty foods such as crackers when feeling nauseated helps to relieve the feeling of nausea in a short time.

 

Who is at Risk?

Mothers expecting twins or more babies experience nausea and vomiting. The risk of vomiting being more severe is higher than expectant mothers expecting a single child. However, it is possible that these discomforts never occur. Women who used birth control pills before pregnancy and experienced nausea when using them are likely to experience these problems during pregnancy. The cause of this nausea is sensitivity to estrogen. Women who have similar complaints in their immediate family are also more likely to experience nausea than other expectant mothers. In addition to all these, those who suffer from motion sickness, those with migraine disease, those who are pregnant for the first time and those who are pregnant at a young age. It is quite normal for people to experience these discomforts.
