- PARTAL PROSTHESES
These are dentures that receive support from the small amount of teeth and palate remaining in the mouth. These prostheses are used when porcelain bridges and implant surgery cannot be performed.
- Cleaning of Removable Dentures
Prevents plaque, food residue and tartar formation. Daily cleaning and maintenance of your dentures is important to survive. Regular maintenance is essential to maintain the health of the tissue under the prosthesis and to prevent infections.
Remove food residues by washing your prosthesis in water after meals.
Use water, various toothpastes or denture care products before going to bed to clean your prosthesis. You should brush it. Abrasive powders should not be used in brushing as they will damage the denture surface. Special denture brushes or normal toothbrushes can be used in the brushing process.
In addition to daily brushing, chemical weekly denture care should also be carried out using special effervescent denture cleaning tablets.
Despite all this care, the denture will not be cleaned for a long time. Stains and tartar can only be cleaned by your dentist with ultrasonic tools and the polish of your denture will be renewed.
To ensure that you can use your dentures in their original condition for a long time, do not forget to visit your doctor regularly every six months.
