I would like to start my words with the following sentence. ''Great achievements occur with the help of distinguished children raised by valuable parents.''
The first thing that comes to mind when we say child development; It is the physical, emotional, psychomotor and cognitive development of the child. As child development, we are able to deal with and intervene in all developmental areas of the child. From the moment the child falls into the mother's womb, we have to master all developmental stages. But is the support of us educators enough? Of course not.
It is precisely after this question that the importance of family emerges. Dear parents, you are our indispensable part of your child's education. Because he is the best role model parent to the child. The support of the parents in the education and development of the child greatly affects the personality development of the child. If the education we provide under the roof of the school is not supported by his parents, something will be missing there. An educator is needed not only on the roof of the school, but also wherever the child is. A child developer, a teacher, most importantly parent support. Parents have some responsibilities for this support. The first of these; As parents, if we do not trust our child, it will not be right to expect our child to be a child with high self-confidence in the future.
'' If I give an example from myself; My precious parents have always supported me in my self-confidence. This allowed me to gain a self-confident and self-confident personality.”
The importance of parents is lifelong in the development of the child.
-
If the child has received enough love in his childhood, he will not beg for love in adulthood.
-
If the child's actions are appreciated, he will learn to trust himself. .
-
If the child's rights are respected, he will learn to be fair.
-
If he has been brought up with tolerance, he will learn to be respectful and patient.
-
If the child is trusted, he/she will gain a self-confident personality.
-
Most importantly, if he/she was brought up in a peaceful family environment, he/she will learn to be happy. p>
-
Criticizing our child all the time,
-
reproaching our child in front of others,
-
Comparing our child with someone else,
-
Punishing our child for every mistake,
-
To spoil our child all the time,
-
To say insulting words to our child,
-
To fight alongside her as parents, As if it were not enough, to see the person responsible as a child,
-
As parents, we should do a behavior that should not be done,
This Have you ever thought about how mistakes affect the child?
Every time the child is scolded and criticized, he will always feel incomplete and weak.
Every time the child is compared, he will see himself as someone who can do nothing and know nothing.
A child who is punished for every mistake he makes will begin to think that he is no longer loved.
Well, dear parents, have you ever thought about it? What will our child think if we hold our child responsible for our fight? What does he think?
"I'm not a good kid at all, they're fighting because of me. If I go, maybe they won't fight. Because they're fighting while I'm around. My absence will be good for them.'
YOU THINK YOUR CHILD HAS THOUGHT THESE THOUGHTS... With these in mind, I wanted to emphasize the importance of parents. It is so valuable that parental support will never leave the mind of the child, let alone in childhood, adulthood and old age. For this reason, our job as parents is both very difficult and very easy. All we need to do is to hear and see the child.
"THE ONLY THING A CHILD NEEDS MORE THAN ADVICE IS TO HAVE THEIR MOTHER AND FATHER TO GUIDE THEM."
I am a child developer. My job is to be responsible for the development of the child. Knowing everything that affects this development and eliminating the negative effects.
If my job is a child, I am my child…
