The problem of most people is; Not being able to eat regularly at work, not knowing what to eat, and having difficulty balancing or creating a balanced meal because he/she eats/has to eat from outside.
Being hungry for such a long time since we spend approximately 8-12 hours a day at work; It causes your mental and physical performance to decrease, you to experience problems, your patience towards your employees (customers, colleagues, clients) to decrease and you to become angry easily. For this, I have prepared suggestions that will make your job easier.
If you can have your breakfast at home and leave, we have no problem, but if you eat outside every day and this is a breakfast made with a single food, you cannot be fed enough. Let's examine them one by one:
* If you are going to buy bakery products such as bagels and pastries:
Pastry type foods, because we do not know exactly how much fat is in them, due to their high fat content and especially saturated fat content. These are the types that we do not recommend you consume very often. Your consumption frequency may be once a week. In this case, you can create a balanced breakfast by adding cheese, olives and seasonal vegetables. Because the amount of cheese and olives in each pastry is not enough, you will prevent it from being a carbohydrate-rich meal.
If you prefer to consume bagels, I must say that one bagel replaces four slices of bread. You can create a balanced breakfast by adding 1-2 slices of cheese, 5-6 olives and seasonal vegetables. You can consume it twice a week by adjusting the bread group foods in other meals.
*If you have to eat your lunch from outside;
Prefer it to be served on a plate instead of a wrap. This way, you will be aware of how much bread you consume.
Apply the Four Leaf Clover rule. Check if the food on your plate/menu is uniform. If you can bring it from home, you can prepare by taking this model as an example.
*When you feel thirsty, most of the water in your body is depleted. So drink water without waiting until you feel thirsty. In this way, your concentration will be at its maximum level. If you forget to drink water, set up your phone or drink a glass of water every hour. At your desk or work Keep a water bottle around.
* If you are going to be hungry for more than four hours, it may be useful to add snacks between main meals. For this purpose, keep foods such as roasted chickpeas, nuts, dried fruits, fresh fruit that you bring daily, milk and yoghurt in your office, in your drawer or in the refrigerator if you have one. Be conscious about it. Too much caffeine taken into the body causes dehydration and increases thirst. Tea, coffee and acidic drinks can never replace water. Consume water as water, set a quota if possible and control yourself.
