- I am afraid of having a heart attack or contracting a terminal illness.

- The world is a dangerous place.
- I have various phobias.
Behaviors:
- I read disaster news.
COACHING WITH AVOID
- I don't go into environments that aren't completely safe (e.g., take an elevator, etc.)
- I carry sedatives with me.
- I often take precautions.
COACHING WITH EXTREME COMPENSATION
- I don't mind the dangers, I take risks.
ORIGINS
- If you have the vulnerability schema, you may have childhood experiences similar to the following:
- Your mom/dad was overprotective .
- Your mother/father was too concerned about your safety.
- Your mother/father often warned you of dangers.
- Your mother/father was nervous, anxious, phobic .
- Your mother/father often spoke of the calamities and negativities in the world.
- Your mother/father did everything to keep you safe.
- When you were little, you were a weak child and often fell ill.
IMPACTS ON LIFE
- How does the vulnerability schema affect your life:
- She can't feel comfortable because she has phobias You may be and your life may be limited.
- You are so worried about your health that you may not be able to relax.
- You have to constantly seek reassurance and take precautions.
- Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder You may suffer from diagnoses such as numbness, agoraphobia.
- Your relatives (spouse, child, friend) may get bored with the negativity possibilities that you talk about all the time.
- Your relatives may be angry with you because of your constant precautionary behavior.
