Although this surgery provides benefits to the patient, it also has some disadvantages. The harmful effects of cesarean section, which we call complications, include a decrease in the number of births, uterine rupture, abnormal positioning of the baby's partner in the next pregnancy. causes problems. Recently, another complication that has become increasingly important has emerged: isthmocele (cesarean scar defect), that is, the defect that occurs as a result of the abnormal healing of the uterus cut during cesarean section. This uterine defect (istmocele) causes infertility at a rate of 5%, in addition to pain during sexual intercourse and painful menstrual bleeding. and excessive menstrual bleeding. The main reasons for this are the proper operation of the surgery, proper stitching, anemia, infection, and the patient's structural condition. How do we diagnose? It can be diagnosed 100% with a simple ultrasound. Its treatment is surgery. There are 2 types of surgery: 1- Laparoscopy (closed bloodless surgery) 2- Hysteroscopy (visualizing the inside of the uterus with a camera and shaving it). After the surgery, groin pain, intercourse pain, abnormal excessive bleeding are resolved by 90%, and infertility is resolved by 75%.
