The world has struggled with epidemics for thousands of years. There are examples of what is happening today in history.

The good news is that no epidemic has lasted for too long. Humanity has become immune to diseases. So this is a phase, it will pass.. Good days are near.. So, is it that easy?

We have devoured the ways to protect ourselves from corona, put cologne in our pockets, but how will we protect our mental health in this process?

A few tips 

1- First of all, covid-19 (coronavirus) Do not watch too much news about it. Follow the agenda at regular intervals. Do not watch videos of patients exposed to this disease. Worrying about the disease is useful to protect us from it, but too much worry will not be positive for our mental health. Of course, this should not mean too much relief. We should not forget to take our precautions and wear our mask. We should keep our distance from people who do not behave correctly and neglect their precautions and do not meet for a while.

2-Breathing and relaxation exercises, meditation are useful in coping with anxiety, start relaxing yourself with your body. For this, you can watch yoga and meditation videos and practice it very easily at home.

3-Eat a healthy and balanced diet and have a sleep routine. Healthy nutrition and regular sleep are the solutions to many of your problems. For this, three meals a day are recommended and healthy foods should be consumed at the right times. Foods containing heavy carbohydrates should not be consumed, especially in the evening. As for sleep, an average of 8 hours of sleep should be taken every day. Interrupted sleep, sleeping late in the evening and sleeping during the day will make you feel tired. Avoid excessive alcohol/substance use.

4- Get a hobby. Find an activity that will make you productive and feel good. Emptiness always pushes people into negative thoughts that they don't need. Being at home doesn't mean doing nothing. Paint, do a sport regularly, learn to play an instrument, etc. you will feel better.

5- Establish communication with people who push you to think calmly and logically. People who are loaded with panic and negative thoughts during this period. Remove it from your life. In fact, not only in this period, Even though they are good, stay away from people who will give you negative energy and make you feel bad.
