Female reproductive organs consist of internal and external genital organs.
External genital organs; It consists of the inner and outer lips called vulva, clitoris, hymen (hymen) and various glands.

– Vulva; The inner and outer lips surrounding the vaginal opening are skin folds containing fatty tissue, sweat glands, blood vessels and hair follicles.
– Clitoris; The clitoris, which is the remnant of the structure that forms the penis in men in women, consists of tissues that fill with blood and harden during sexual activity.
– Hymen; The hymen is a thin membrane that covers the outer part of the vaginal opening.

Internal genital organs; It consists of the vagina, uterus, fallopian tubes, (reproductive canals) and ovaries.

– Vagina; It is a structure consisting of muscles, approximately 7-9 cm long, extending from the vulva to the uterus. Since it is elastic, it can be stretched during sexual intercourse and birth.
– Uterus; The uterus is a pear-shaped structure, consisting of the body and the cervix. The inside of the uterus is covered with a layer called endometrium, which is shed every month with menstrual bleeding.
– Fallopian tubes; They are structures that lie between the uterus and the ovary. Fertilization of the egg released from the ovaries
takes place in these tubes. The fertilized egg passes through the tubes and reaches the uterus.
– Ovaries are walnut-sized
structures located on both sides of the ducts and containing many eggs. From the ovaries, which produce hormones such as estrogen and progesterone, an egg develops and is released every month until menopause.
