Doppler ultrasound is used more and more frequently to understand all the underlying problems before varicose vein treatment.
This method is painless and no needles are used. In varicose vein treatment, where accurate and adequate diagnosis is important in the early period, as in every treatment, the vascular surgeon's "Vessel Mapping" accompanied by Doppler Ultrasound at the first stage is important for the effectiveness of the results, because incorrect diagnosis of varicose disease is possible. The most important reason for inadequate or inadequate treatment is the incorrect performance or interpretation of color Doppler ultrasonography.
Today, imaging techniques such as plethysmography, phlebography, and MR-venography are rarely used in the evaluation of vascular diseases.
