Developmental Stages in Children

Human development covers a process from birth to the end of life. Every individual develops from the moment of birth and experiences some stages in each development. These phases are influenced by each other and follow each other. Developmental stages generally consist of 4 parts: Infancy, childhood, second childhood and adolescence.

Infancy Period (0-2)

Infancy period is very important. It is the period in which they undergo rapid development (such as bone development, mental development). The physical development of the child depends on the care given during these years. Because in these years they start to move and walk. Children try to stand up at the 9th month, and they master walking around the age of 2. Another part of children's rapid development from the moment they are born is their mental development. This period includes the period in which children orient themselves towards their environment, understand the outside world, and gain basic skills. While they continue to grow, they also begin to socialize.
