PRP Application

PRP is the abbreviation of the treatment method called "plateletrich plasma-clot cell-enriched plasma". In this application, a small amount of blood taken from the person is placed in a special tube and centrifuged. Plasma enriched in clot cells containing growth factors is separated and given back to the same person by injection.
HOW DOES PRP EFFECT?
These clot cells, full of growth factors, work quickly and effectively in repairing tissues and cells. It works in the following way.

Growth factors not only enable keratinocytes and fibroblasts to renew the tissue, but also help the formation of new blood vessels that provide oxygen and nutrients to improve skin tissue.

HOW IS PRP APPLIED?
The plasma obtained in PRP treatment is administered under the skin with the help of very thin needles. Additionally, PRP serum can be applied to the skin after fractional laser, radiofrequency and dermatherapy applications. PRP will be absorbed through the opened pores.

After blood is taken, PRP preparation takes approximately 8-15 minutes. The application time of PRP to the skin is approximately 10-20 minutes.

WILL PAIN BE FELT DURING PRP APPLICATION?
Before the procedure, local anesthetic cream is applied to numb the skin. PRP is applied using very thin needles. Therefore, much pain is not felt.

WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF PRP APPLICATION?
Since no foreign substance is used in the process, the risk of allergic reaction is very low.

TO WHOM CANNOT PRP TREATMENT BE APPLIED?
The application is not performed on those who use blood thinners, those with a history of cancer, those with blood diseases, those with infection in the area to be treated, those with autoimmune diseases, those who are pregnant and breastfeeding.

WHAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AFTER PRP APPLICATION?
Take a hot bath on the same day as the procedure. It should not be applied and sun protection cream should be used.
